Hi! My name is Meg Poterba and I am a junior from Belmont, Massachusetts. I am an Economics major with a double minor in Chinese and Education Studies, so I'm kind of all over the place with academics. I am currently the Co-President of a student organization called Middlebury College Access Mentors program (MiddCAM), where we conduct one-on-one mentoring with local high school students as they navigate the college application process. I have had the chace to travel to Monkton, Vermont and teach Chinese to a class of 5th and 6th grade students, and also enjoy volunteering in the local Middlebury elementary school. This year, I am also the President of Palmer House, an on-campus house for 30 students that is centralized around our theme of Youth Engagement. While I love pursuing my educational passions to prepare me for careers post-Middlebury, on campus I love watching athletics and cheering for our sports teams. I am self-proclaimed as the #1 fan of Middlebury Basketball and Hockey and can often be found with posters or face paint to support my friends and their teammates. I love to talk about Middlebury, so if you have any questions about my interests or our school in general, please feel free to contact me!
